We just returned from an awesome week staying at the Silver Bay YMCA on Lake George. Great times, great weather all around great week.
I know that Grandpa would’ve loved to see us all together like we were. I think everyone who came out realized why this area was so special to him throughout his life.
Click here for all of the photos I gathered from the trip.
Looking forward to 2013!!
For Christmas, Kate’s Uncle Bob got the whole family tickets to a Kane County Cougars game. We had a great time. They had a tent setup for us before the game with food and drinks and they we all sat together and watched the game. After the game they let anyone who wants to come down to the field and run the bases.
Thanks Uncle Bob & Ruth!!
Today was the start of the Friendship Festival in Bourbonnais. Rudy won the Kid’s race in his age group. After, we stuck around and watched the kids parade before heading up to Michigan for the weekend.
Rudy played T-Ball this year and had so much fun. He met lots of new friends. I got to coach him and we had a great group of kids. We had a little pizza night after the season.
Rudy turned 6 and just like last year he wanted his party in Michigan. So we had most of the family head up for Memorial day weekend to do some boating and hanging out. The weather could have been a little better but we had fun anyway.
We had a very full day like we do every Easter. We started in the morning, moved over to G-Ma’s and then finished the day at Grandma & Grandpa Styx’s.
I turned 3! Thank you everyone for all the gifts and for coming to my party.
Well she came a little early (6 weeks) but she is perfect.
Rudy played soccer through our park district this year. He had a lot of fun and scored a couple goals. He was very good on defense and one of the quicker kids on the team.
Today we went to see Toy Story on Ice which was awesome. On the way we noticed that Legoland was on the way back and it happened to be Star Wars weekend so we decided we had to stop there too.
